invented the Molecular Foundry, a synthetic engine that plugs
together multidisciplinary elements
used routinely in distinct branches of chemistry (medicinal chemistry,
natural products chemistry & materials chemistry) but arranged on
an atypical blueprint.
This innovation builds upon a paradigm leap:
all the required technologies have reached maturity but have never been
implemented together in a synergistic pattern. This ensures that
execution & tuning are straightforward and that operating costs are kept under
control.
Most importantly, the Molecular Foundry has been engineered to
purposely create the conditions to synthesize the "right" molecule: it
automates serendipity, builds-in biological relevance, integrates physico-chemical screens (solubility, cLogP, pKa) & enables chemistry in water.
It is tuned on structural divergence, not combinatorial analoging.
